Volunteer Illini Projects

There is a registered student organization on campus, Volunteer Illini Projects (VIP) that has 16 distinct projects always looking for volunteers. Some projects are easier to volunteer with than others and those are listed below. To get involved, just email the contact listed below:

Salt and Light operates a food panty and a large clothing closet. Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize both clothing and food.

The Champaign Park District always needs volunteers for their frequent special events, or to coach one of their youth league teams.
2. Eastern Illinois Foodbank

The Foodbank distributes food to more than 200 member agencies in an eight county area. Volunteers are needed in their warehouse space to help unload and organize food.
